Who We Are
Deaf People of Color Connecting (DPOCC) is a Deaf-led organization focused on bringing Deaf POC individuals, families, and communities together through social connection, education, empowerment, and advocacy.
DPOCC creates opportunities for connection, representation, self-development, self-advocacy, and access to resources that support Deaf People of Color in their communities.
Our community includes Deaf, Hard of Hearing, DeafBlind, DeafDisabled, and other individuals with diverse communication and accessibility needs.
This stays within what the client already described and the content from the existing site rather than adding a new purpose. Her new site is specifically meant to be professional, welcoming and Deaf-centered.

Our Mission
Our mission is to bring Deaf POC together through social connection. This includes our Deaf children/CODA through Kids of Color Connecting (KoCC) and people of all genders.
We are united in building representation, inclusivity, equity, and social empowerment through self-development, social change, self-advocacy, awareness, resources, and educational workshops.
We help Deaf, Hard of Hearing, DeafBlind, and DeafDisabled POC address barriers that may prevent them from thriving.
